Review for White Trash Beautiful by Teresa Mummert

The story was great. I liked Tucker. I wanted Cass to figure out her issues before everything came to such a dramatic conclusion. I needed her to take action a lot quicker then she did, but I get it she thinks she is damaged. That she doesn't deserve better. I will read further books in the series. I'm not sure if it will continue with Cass and Tucker being the main characters, or if other characters will take center stage. If it's Cass and Tucker, Cass needs to get grow and get more confidence. Looking forward to the story continuing.

Review for The Bookstore by Deborah Meyler

Not really my cup of tea. I didn't connect with the main character, Esme, so right off the bat that's not good. I'm not going to go too much into it, since I pretty much skimmed the last 50 percent of the book. I just couldn't get into it. The ending was very flat for me also. I didn't like most of it.

Review for The Prelude by KaSonndra Leigh

Great book! Liked both of the main characters and where the story goes. I liked the chemistry Erin and Alik had together. I liked how Alik went after what he wanted, and didn't let outside influences deter how he felt. Glad they figured out fairly quickly, that they wanted each other, and started working on their individual and mutual problems together. Liked the little twist and turns in the story. The only thing I would of liked a bit more of was Erin opening up a bit more. Looking forward to other books in this series and by KaSonndra Leigh.

Review for The Dominant by Tara Sue Me

I loved it! I haven't read the first book in the series, The Submissive, due to the fact I received an advanced copy of The Dominant. When I read that this book is just the male point of view, with the same main events of the first book, I went ahead and read it. I will definitely read the remaining books in this series. It is similar to FSOG, and I don't mind that. It's different enough to stand on it's own. I love the FSOG series, so I love books that have a similar feel to them. I liked the main characters. Abby and Nate have good chemistry, and I felt for them. There is BDSM, in my opinion it was light BDSM. I liked that there wasn't a lot of outside influences messing with their relationship. The Dominant is more about the main characters trying to come to terms with themselves, and grow. I look forward to reading more books by Tara Sue Me, especially in this series. If you like Dominant/submissive books that have feeling to them, The Dominant is a must read!

Review for Claimed by Stacey Kennedy Slight Spoilers

I'm not usually a huge fan of BDSM, but I enjoyed Claimed by Stacey Kennedy. It is heavy on the BDSM aspect, so don't go in expecting light sexual situations. It had just the right amount for me. I do have some hesitations about the next book in the series though. My hesitations come from some of the other characters being more hardcore then the main characters in this book. If they are the next main characters it may get to be too much. The reason for that is I don't enjoy multiple partner sex scenes or sleeping with multiple people in a book, but that's just my preference. Other readers may enjoy those type of scenes. I'm willing to give it a try though, since I enjoyed this book. All in all it was a good BDSM book, it was kind of like a rule book for BDSM.

Friday Night Alibi Cassie Mae

I love it! Quick, funny, warm hearted read. Loved all the characters. You could feel their hearts in their actions, even if certain characters tried to hide it. The characters were funny and that helps make Friday Night Alibi a really cute book. I'd call this book PG-13, it was wholesome, in a good way. I highly recommend it! If you need a quick, cute read definitely read Friday Night Alibi by Cassie Mae!

Review for The Silver Chain by Primula Bond

I liked the story, but I felt disconnected to the characters. The writing was odd at times, and too wordy. The writing seemed erratic. It felt old, the mention of modern items was weird. I kept forgetting that this was current. The setting felt gothic, which I ended up liking.  I like the events of the story, and I tried to feel emotional for the characters, I just couldn't quite manage it.  I enjoyed the idea of this book, so I will read the next book, can't leave a story unread. I'm hoping that the writing will smooth out, and the characters will grow. I have hope for The Silver Chain, just make the characters more human.
