Review for Star by BB Easton - 5 out of 5!

SYNOPSIS - AMAZON LINK -

Because BB Easton had so much fun writing her best-selling, award-winning memoir, 44 CHAPTERS ABOUT 4 MEN, she decided to give each of her four men his own steamy stand-alone. STAR is Hans’s book—a real-life rock star romance…with a twist.

In 1999, Brooke “BB” Bradley met her Prince Charming. He was the tall, tattooed, wickedly handsome bass player for the up-and-coming rock band, Phantom Limb. But, more importantly, he was hers. She knew it the moment he flashed her that shy, dimpled smile.

And he knew it too.

Hansel “Hans” Oppenheimer wore his heart on one sleeve and scrawled lyrics about BB on the other. Unlike the assholes of her past, he showered her with tenderness, took her places she’d never been before, and showed her the type of all-consuming love she’d thought only existed in fairy tales.

But, like any good fairy tale, BB’s road to happily ever after was paved with challenges, and right when she least expected it…it forked.

In 1999, Brooke “BB” Bradley met her Prince Charming.

In 2000, she met her soul mate.

MY REVIEW -

I don't normally read rock star romances, but BB Easton is one of my favorites, so I knew I had to read Star. Once again, BB Easton has blown me away with her writing! I've loved every single book she's written so far, and Star is no different. I love the way BB tells a story. She draws me into to her world, and I love feeling immersed in this story. This is the type of series that you should really start either with 44 chapters or Skin to get the full affect of the story. The audio is also super amazing! The narrator is perfect for this series. Definitely get the audios!!! BB's books make me sad, but in the best possible way! This may be a bit spoilery if you haven't read the previous books, so be warned!!! WARNING!!! I feel so sad because I know BB and Hans aren't going to work out, and reading about how they fall in love, it's so sweet! I'm also so sad because of how the events play out. It's sad to see Hans, and even Knight, make such poor choices in regards to their health. Mental and Physical. I was so disappointed right along side BB as I read the events unfolding. BB is much nicer than I would've been during certain situations, and I would've cut certain people right the heck out of my life! BB put up with too much, and it's unhealthy for her. I wish she spoke up for herself more. I wish she took better care of herself as well. This series is a journey for BB, and it's great to see BB grow and realize that she deserves more than what she has been getting. I loved, loved, loved, seeing Ken! Ken is adorable, and I can't wait for Suit! I feel so sad that the series is almost done. I'm going to need to stalk BB, so I can keep hearing stories! I love this series to pieces!
