Review for Fight by Molly Mclain - 4 out of 5
SYNOPSIS - AMAZON LINK -
The story continues...
I trusted Colton with every bit of myself. I believed him when he promised he’d never hurt me. But he broke me…and now I watch him give another woman everything I thought would be mine.
I never saw this coming.
I don’t blame Taylor for the decisions she’s made, because I know the fault is all mine. I took her for granted. I broke her heart.
But she’s everything to me. If the guy holding her now thinks for one second I’ll lay down without a fight, he’s dead wrong.
Because I’m coming after what’s mine.
MY REVIEW -
I just finished Fly, and I was entertained and enjoyed it. It ended on a cliffhanger, so I was glad I had Fight, so I can see how everything turned out for Taylor and Colton. You should definitely read Fly first since this story is a duet. You'll get the full picture that way too. This review will have some spoilers for the first book, so if you haven't read it, you may not want to continue with this review. Colton and Taylor have been best friends since they were kids. They finally gave into their feelings, and got together. It doesn't last long though, since Colton puts his quest for fame before Taylor. Colton knows he needs to make it right with Taylor, but some drama is getting in the way of that. Taylor is dealing with her own issues at home, and hearing some news about Colton doesn't help the situation out. The characters are still a bit immature, but I loved seeing how devoted Colton is to Taylor. I was disappointed that Taylor took forever to bring Colton up to date, and she was a bit of a wreck in this story. I still really enjoyed it though. Colton and Taylor do have good chemistry, and they are really sweet with each other. I liked the bit of a twist to the story too. Overall, a fun, sweet read!
